News of May 2016

Dear Kachana-Friends,

May brought with it a few cooler days, an unexpected but appreciated 22 mm of rain, and then more August-type weather! (Pleasant balmy evenings, cool nights, warm days with cloud-build-up)

Kachana is “far enough” – Often we get asked about the name “Kachana”.

Kachana means “far away” in Chilapalapa. A short-story by Stuart Cloete inspired Chris to call it that. (If you are interested in the rest of the story, let us know and we will

email it to you.)

All the best until next time,

Greetings from Kachana
